The 812A4 Board

The 812A4 is a single chip microcontroller based on the MC68HC812A4 chip. The board is designed to run the 812A4 in single chip mode, meaning you plug this board into power, and it is 100% operational. No external memory is required. The 68HC812A4 is a member of the HC12 family, and sports:

bullet4k of EEPROM for program storage
bullet1k of RAM for data
bullet8 channels of 10-bit A/D
bulletTwo channels of SCI (async serial)
bulletAn SPI port
bulletThe great HC12 timer section
bullet90+ pins of I/O

The 812A4 board mounts this part on a single board that supports

bulletAn onboard RS232/TTL converter with DB9 for connecting to a PC.
bulletAdditional TTL level connections to SCI0 and SCI1
bulletAn 8k serial EEPROM for addtional data storage.
bulletSeveral spare surface mount patterns on back of board.

You will find this board is easy to assemble, and provides you with plenty of power to create your own projects based on th 68HC812A4.
